Due to potential corona infection in Ark 6, all studios (311, 313, 315 and 317) will be closed today. New information will be given this evening when the test results are available.

Visit to Svartlamon
On Friday 21. February from 9-12, we will visit Svartlamon. Kathrine Standahl, manager of Svartlamon Housing Association, will present the history of the neighborhood and tell us about how it is organised. Vidar Vollan from the city planning office will tell about Bopilot and the ideas of a new housing project. Afterwards Kathrine will give us a tour in the area and finally we will walk over to Nyhavna.

Start-up exercise – HOUSING FASCINATIONS
We would like you all to do a small exercise before we start. Prepare a short presentation (max 15 min) with slides where you:
- Present yourself – with focus on your educational background and the reasons why you selected the housing design studio this semester (with this specific topic)
- Present one housing project that has fascinated (understood as inspired and/or challenged) you and explain why

Housing Design Start-up
Welcome to the Housing Design Studio - Spring 2020! We will start on Tuesday 4.February at 10:15 in room KJL21 (Kjelhuset). Our course will be a part of Studio Nyhavna, together with the Large buildings and Ark 6 this semester. Those of you who are present on Monday 3. February may therefore also attend the introduction to Studio Nyhavna in Studio 313 at 10:15-11:00 (in Norwegian).
Your working area will be in Studio 311 together with Large buildings and a group from Ark6.
